Are you gearing up for the new year? Do you love tea? We enjoy tea and have thought learning about tea and tea etiquette would be thrilling. I am calling it teaducation :) Our summer tea party was so much fun that we do not want to wait another 10 months to enjoy tea with friends :) Girls enjoyed a fancy table with glass dishes and tea cups, so cute!
There is so much to learn about and share with tea:
Tea can relaxing
Tea can be invigorating
It is a part of so many cultures
Great on a rainy day
Great on a sunny day on the porch or patio
Wonderful when shared with a friend
It helps when you are sick
Tea can be sweet, strong, hot or cold
So I will be offering small intimate tea parties at our home. Themes may be different types of tea, formal tea, history, cultures, seasonal tea, napkin folding, etc…anything that is tea related.
There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour devoted to the ceremony known as afternoon tea. – Henry James
Thinking little girls could wear dresses? Boys that have an interest are welcome as well. Most likely on Fridays once a month? I would like to keep them small, easy to manage with schooling, etc. so maximum would be five guests. We are interested in getting to know other homeschooling families better and share our knowledge and party planning (my assistant has been idle ;). If you would be interested, please email and let me know. I will then contact those families and see if our schedules coordinate. Praying December will not be too crazy as it would be a lovely tea!! Will you join us for a cuppa?? Please email Kim at DecadentChocolate@gmail.com. Grazie! Merci beaucoup :) Thank you! Muchas gracias :)
Next summer will probably be the next larger scale tea party for Moms and daughters! Please keep in touch, invitation only….
